April has come to an end and we are now two days into May. Speaking as someone who has spent about 97.4% of the month locked inside my apartment… How did April go by so quickly? I’d swear March crawled by…
Anyway, this was my second year attempting the A to Z Challenge and I feel that I was mostly successful. I say mostly because I definitely cheated when I got to X.
See, my personal rules for this year’s A to Z Challenge theme were that I would watch a different feature length Disney film. Having a subscription to the Disney+ streaming service, I decided that each of the movies I watched would have to be found there.
Every letter but X had a movie available. Now, even though Disney has officially acquired 20th Century Fox and, therefore, the X-Men film franchise, those movies are not yet available to watch on Disney+. So I had to make a decision.
I was torn between trying to find X2: X-Men United or simply watching the old school ’90s X-Men cartoon, which is on Disney+. If you kept up with the Challenge this month, you know what I decided. Feels like I didn’t quite stick to my guns, but I really had no choice. It was either go with that or eliminate X from the alphabet. Which I’ve argued could be done anyway…
Anyway, what follows is a full list of posts from the 2020 A to Z Challenge. If you missed any of these movies or want to go back and find out what I had to say about them, feel free.

Did you participate in this year’s A to Z Challenge? I’ll be honest, I didn’t do as great a job keeping up with or following new blogs from people who took the challenge. I swore last year that I would, but it’s funny how life gets in the way. There are a few bloggers I kept up with throughout the month, but those are the ones I tend to follow all year anyway. If you did take the challenge, be sure to leave a link to your blog down in the comments so I can come by and see how you handled your posts.
A lot can happen in a year, so who knows what April of 2021 will look like? If the A to Z Challenge comes back around, though, I expect that I’ll participate for a third time. Not sure that I’ll dive back into a movie theme, but I have a couple other ideas for things I could try. But I’ll save those for my theme reveal next March.
If you didn’t take the challenge, what do you think of it overall? Do you follow any others who took the challenge differently? Let me know in the comments!
Congrats! You did great, even with X.

I’m proud of you for completing!! I enjoyed your movie selections this year! And was glad you picked Disney ones. Had a much better chance of guessing what they were over last year 😂
I’m working on my reflection and it’ll be up on Monday lol I honestly didn’t enjoy the challenge this year. I might not do it again…

With the A-Z Challenge, I actually started Following some new bloggers. Now, that it’s over, I will actually find out what their blogs are about.
I loved the Challenge. It gave me focus and I learned a bit. Plus, it was interesting to see what others came up with.
Mine was on Cats and other Animals. -Final Chapter

I was happy to see your challenge. I have seen all these movies too 🙂 As for me, I took part too, but not officially. And yet, I wrote a poem or short story for every letter of the alphabet. Here’s a link if you want to take a quick look. https://micqu.wordpress.com/category/a-to-z-2020/
Either way, thank you very much for your posts. It brought back the memory of this or that movie to watch with the kids (again). xx

Congratulation on completing the challenge (I know I’m terribly late, but still…) and don’t feel bad about X. That’s always a letter that requires some adjusting 😉
