For $1 million, would you be willing to never again see or speak to your best friend?
I don’t think so, no.
While $1 million is a great deal of money, it’s not really all that much in the scheme of things. Money is fleeting. But a true friendship, like the kind I would expect to have with a best friend, is rare in this world and should not be treated lightly or sold for that kind of price. For anything, really.
How about you? Would you trade away your best friendship for money? Tell me in the comments…
*The Question of the Week can be found in The Book of Questions by Gregory Stock, Ph.D.
Does this include texting? Lol I’d be ok if I never got to see her or speak directly to her, but can I text her? Or is it a complete removal? We have a long distance friendship now so it works for us.
But to never be able to even text her? Or send her random pictures on fb? No deal

The book from which this question comes was first published in the 1980s, when texting wasn’t yet an option. You may have found a proper loophole.

That’d be a no from me. My hubs is my best friend. I couldn’t imagine my day to day living without him! Not worth it at all.
