If we lived for centuries and even very old people were healthy and youthful, would you rather have a partner who was old enough to be world-wise and experienced, or someone younger and more naïve who was seeing most things for the first time? Why?
I think I’d still want to be with someone who is around my age. Not that age really matters in things like this. Wait… that came out wrong.
Age definitely matters if one of the parties involved is too young. Like… if there’s still a teen at the end of that number, they should really only be involved with someone else who has a teen at the end of that number. Just wanted to clear that up.
When it comes to actual adult relationships, age shouldn’t necessarily be a factor if two people are compatible. I’ve known couples who had as much as 15 years separating them and had beautiful relationships. But that’s not even what this question is about.
I don’t know… I’m not in a relationship now, nor have I ever been. But if I were so inclined, I would just want to be with someone that I could have a conversation with. Someone that I could have many conversations with and not feel like we’re boring each other by talking about the same things over and over again. It doesn’t matter how old they are, if we’re living for centuries, as long as we can continue having new experiences together.
But what about you? Would you prefer someone older? Younger? Same age? Let me know your thoughts down in the comments below!
