If you decided to do something and your friends strongly advised you not to, could you do it anyway?
Sure. They’re not the boss of me.
Okay, I would take the advice of my friends into consideration. Their opinions matter. But if this hypothetical something is something that I’ve already put a lot of thought into doing, then there’s a good chance I’ll do it anyway. And if it turns out to be a bad decision, that’s on me. And I’m sure I’ll be able to count on my real friends to say, “I told you so.”
What about you? Could you go through with something if your friends said to don’t? Let me know in the comments!

I usually ask my best friend’s advice before I do basically anything. She is the most down to earth, rational person I know so if she thinks it’s a bad idea then it probably is. But just in case I’ll ask my brother and if he also agrees then it’s definitely a bad idea and I’ll stick to their advice haha

I’m like you – if my mind is made up on something, then there is little that would be able to stop me. I do take my husband’s advice to heart, but that is only because he has had many opportunities to say “I told you so”, lol.

I usually do take my husband’s advice into strong consideration, but I don’t automatically follow it.
