Question of the Week #103

QuestionDoes the fact that you have never done something before increase or decrease its appeal to you?

I guess it depends on what that something is that I’ve never done before. Let’s say it’s bungee jumping. I’ve never done that before. But no part of attaching myself to a long piece of elastic and jumping off a bridge strikes me as appealing. I’ve also never been to Australia. But I see pictures of it and think it sure would be nice to go someday.

What about you? Does the novelty of never having done something make you more likely to want to do it?

  1. Unless it is winning the lottery or getting the opportunity to go on a fabulous vacation, the answer is no. Any normal things, like skiing, which I’ve never been interested in, I’m even less interested in now. And if it’s something awful that has never happened to me, I still don’t want it to happen to me, lol.
