What could someone figure out about you by the friends you’ve chosen?
That I like to keep to myself…
Okay, not really. I mean, yes, it’s true that I’m an introvert and I tend to keep to myself. That’s the first thing that comes to mind because, locally, I don’t really have any close friends. I don’t really have anyone with whom I spend time. I don’t hang out with anyone on the weekends. Occasionally I’ll get together with folks for lunch or something, but those meals are few and usually far between.
In reality, even though I don’t have close friends nearby, I am grateful for the handful of friends I have that don’t live nearby. Though I’m not sure what you would learn about me based on what you could learn about them.
This question doesn’t make a lot of sense to me…
I would hope that, in knowing my friends, you would find me to be a good friend myself. I would hope that you would discover that I have a good sense of humor and I’m willing to drop anything to do anything for those I care about. Even though I often look at myself and question the kind of friend I am, considering myself, at times, to be selfish and self-involved.
I don’t know… if any of my IRL friends come across this, feel free to confirm or deny any of the above.
What about you? What would people learn about you based on your friend group? Let me know down in the comments!

I think they would look at character, hobbies, recreational and professional activities. Do you hang out with rednecks or gamers? How many moose heads are on the wall? Party animals? Speedboats and snowmobiles? How many closets are filled with yarn. Don’t laugh, some guys have rooms full of yarn. Books, movies, size of the TV. I could go on and on. You can tell a lot by meeting the friends people hang out with 🙂

I maybe similar to yourself. I don’t collect large groups of friends, I’m more of a ‘one at a time’ person. Although now I have ‘one at a time’ friends all over the place – which adds up to a lot!
I too keep to myself, I have taken to sharing more of inner self through writing and Facebook.
I am intense and serious. A rule follower. But I’m also generous and kind. I don’t spend a lot of time with friends, but I’m always there if needed (I think).
Casual coffees suit me down to the ground.
