Question of the Week #235

Would you like to be famous? If so, for what? What if you knew it meant that within a few years you’d lose all your current friends and never develop new relationships that were as meaningful?

Fame, from what I understand, is a fickle thing. I don’t think I’d want to reach celebrity status. But I wouldn’t mind being mildly famous for having a blog that reaches thousands of people on a daily basis. Or for the YouTube channel I keep saying I’m gonna start but still have yet to do.

Really, I wouldn’t mind writing a book and getting it published and having it optioned for a movie or TV series and then being known for that. I don’t think that would result in my ultimate goal of hosting Saturday Night Live, but some things on the bucket list just won’t get crossed off.

I don’t feel like I have many friends these days. At least, not the kind that I see or hang out with on the regular. Even so, I wouldn’t trade the friends I do have but never see for any amount of fame.

But what about you? Do you want to be famous? Let me know in the comments!

      • HAHA! I know 😂 that wasn’t an attack I promise haha its just weird how you have to choose and it wouldn’t really happen in real life. If I were famous I wouldn’t lose my best friend. Like you, I don’t have a lot of friends and I don’t see them in person a lot, but being famous wouldn’t change those relationships.
