Technology has become a part of us. Would you rather lose the use of all motorized vehicles, all telecommunication devices and computers, or one of your hands?
Could I just replace my left hand with a tablet or smartphone?
No… I really wouldn’t want to do that. I’m right-handed. But I’m sure if I lost the use of my left hand, I’d find out pretty quickly just how useful that hand is. Or was…
I think I’d be okay with losing all motorized vehicles. It’d make traveling a lot more difficult, but that’s how it was for thousands of years for humanity. And they never had the various ways of keeping in touch that we do today.
Can’t travel on horseback to see your mom next Christmas? Facetime! Can’t afford to send an employee to that conference in Orlando because it’ll take a week to get there? Teleconference!
Plus, consider how great all that would go over in today’s climate of social distancing. I just solved a lot of problems here, folks.
But what would you prefer to live without? Can you get by with the use of only one of your hands? Are you willing to give up the iPhone? Let me know down in the comments!

Well I went a whole year without a car, 3 years without a phone, and 15 years without a personal computer… probably the left hand.
