Relative to the population at large, how do you rate your physical attractiveness? Your intelligence? Your personality?
I’m pretty sure I’m utterly average in all three of these areas.
In a recent job interview, one of the interviewers pointed out that I am horrible at bragging on myself. So even if I found myself to be above average in looks, smarts, or personality, I would be hesitant to even own it.
But, really… I wouldn’t even put myself in the top 50%. I’m just not that attractive, I can admit it. I don’t know what my IQ is, but I know I got 1050 on my SATs back in the day. That’s not a great score. I do consider myself a cesspool of useless knowledge. But just because I’m able to retain pointless trivia doesn’t necessarily mean I’m intelligent, right? And then there’s the personality… You’d think it doesn’t exist if you didn’t already know me very well.
But who wants to really get to know me on a personal level if your first impression is of an ugly dum-dum who has the personality of a brick?
What about you? Where do you rank yourself as far as physical appearance, intelligence, and personality go? Let me know down in the comments!
