Would you rather spend a month on vacation with your parents or put in overtime at your current job for four weeks without extra compensation?

I’m not sure how to answer this question. I mean, I love my job. So if I were asked to do extra work out of the kindness of my heart, I’d pretty much be okay with that. And vacation for a month with anyone is kind of a long time. I mean, sure, it’s vacation. But have you ever been on any kind of family vacation that isn’t just a lot stressful? Someone got food poisoning. Someone has to pee every 15 minutes. Someone gets mad because they can’t handle your brand of brutal honesty. There’s a reason why it’s a cliche thing for people to say they need a vacation from their vacation. Solo vacation… That’s where it’s at. You want stress free? Go somewhere by yourself. This is the wisdom of the Single Guy.
