Question of the Week #22

QuestionIf you could use a voodoo doll to hurt anyone you chose, would you?

No. And I wouldn’t even want to have the thing around. I know myself very well and I would be way too tempted to use the thing, which would completely contradict my answer to this question.

I’m very easily annoyed by people and I would impulsively shove a pin in the thing’s arm just to inflict a little harmless pain. But then my stupid conscience would get the better of me and I’d feel awful about what I’d done. But then, how would I get rid of the doll in order to not let it continue to be a temptation the next time that person inevitably gets on my nerves? It’s not like I could throw it in a fire to destroy it. Because that would just cause the person to feel like they’re burning alive. Can’t rip the thing apart, because that’s what it would feel like to the person connected to the doll. But I can’t exactly just throw it out. What if it fell into the wrong hands? And I’m talking about worse hands than mine…

So no, I don’t want a voodoo doll. Do you?

  1. It is good to know how to do stuff, but this is not one of them. Because we are our brothers and sisiters keeper, said the bible. Ask it shall be given unto you. Knock and you shall recieve.what part of it that is not clear. Is it to say that you can not ask or that you are ready to recieve. Then,
I believe you are asking almighty Almighty God for favours, How can the person turn around and tie up his people for persecution?
