Question of the Week #278

If you could use a voodoo doll to hurt whoever you wished, would you use it on anyone? If so, who?

No. Power corrupts and I certainly wouldn’t want that kind of power at my disposal. Because it could start out as me using the doll against someone who truly deserves the pain or torture. But from there it could become a slippery slope and suddenly I’m using that power against any random person who randomly pisses me off. Besides, who am I to judge who deserves to be anonymously treated in such a way? No, thanks.

But what would you do? Would the temptation to use the doll be too great for you to resist? Would you use it on someone in particular? Let me know your thoughts down in the comments!

  1. This week someone was using a voodoo doll of me and shoving a nail into my eye, so I totally understand how that side feels. BBBBUUUUUITTTTTT I mean I wouldn’t be opposed to using it on like my brother? Lol flick him in the head a few times just to annoy him from far away?! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  3. Interesting question. I think that you are right. Once we take that first step, then it sort of snowballs and we just keep doing it again and again. Once we do something bad and we get away with it, then we just keep on doing it. Because we think that we won’t get caught and we will get away with it.
