The Blogger Games – Week 3

The Blogger Games is brought to you this week and every week by The Captain’s Speech. Four out of five dentists agree, The Captain’s Speech will prevent cavities and give you a brighter smile!

Paul is brilliant when it comes to finding new ways to bring us all together as bloggers in the blogging community. This time it’s with (I assume) an Olympics-inspired series of games that will carry us through the next several weeks. Follow that link at the top to see how the results were tallied for last week and to play along this week. I have nothing to brag about this week as my results were… what’s the right word? Abysmal. Maybe this week will be better.

Each week, the Games will consist of multiple choice questions about Paul which follow specific topics. This week’s topic is preferences… Most of the answers are a 50/50 shot. Sadly, I don’t feel like that increases my odds of doing better than last week.

For answering purposes, the answer I choose will be italicized.

1. Which way do I like the toilet paper roll to hang?
A) Over
B) Under

2. Sandwiches taste better when they are…
A) Not Cut
B) Cut Diagonally

3. When it comes to watching shows on TV, do I like to watch them…
A) Live
B) Later (Recorded)

4. Would I rather…
A) Stay Up Late
B) Wake Up Early

5. Though I like both, which fries do I like more?
A) Wendy’s
B) McDonald’s

6. I like to sleep on my…
A) Side
B) Back
C) Stomach

7. When drinking from a small milk carton, do I…
A) Use A Straw
B) Not Use A Straw

8. I prefer a desk chair…
A) Without Arm Rests
B) With Arm Rests

9. Which do I prefer on my feet in the summer?
A) Shoes
B) Sandals

10. Which type of book do I enjoy more?
A) Fiction
B) Non-Fiction

My turn to share…
Paul says: What are some preferences you have? What do you like that others don’t? What would your answers be to my 10 questions above.

I don’t often think about my personal preferences unless I find that something is annoying me. Or if someone is specifically asking me to make a choice based on my preferences…

As for how I would answer these 10 questions for myself? I’m fairly certain I answered them based on my personal preferences anyway. In the business, we call that projecting.

Oh, except for number 10… I prefer reading Fiction over Non-Fiction, unless it’s a subject that’s really grabbed my interest. I’m trying to branch out and look into more non-fiction material, but fiction is just too much fun. I like the escapism.

That’s it for this installment of The Blogger Games. Be sure to follow The Captain’s Speech to see how other bloggers respond to Paul’s questions and to follow along with each week’s medal ceremony.
