Question of the Week #238

What if they might someday find out you’d been watching? Do you think you could ever be at ease under constant surveillance?

This is a follow up to last week’s question that asked if you would be willing to on anyone at any time without being detected.

I said last week that I wouldn’t want to do that because I wouldn’t want it done to me. Knowing that they could eventually find out that I was potentially spying on them, no matter who they are, doesn’t make me change my mind.

As far as feeling at east under constant surveillance… If it was real life, no. I’d never feel like I was free to do or say what I wanted. I’d always feel judged in some way. The only exception, I’d say, would be if I managed to make it into the Big Brother house for a summer. But then I’d know what I was getting myself into for three months.

But what about you? If you said you’d be willing to spy on others without being detected, would you still do so if they eventually found you out? Let me know down in the comments!
