Kids, you may have noticed that I’ve been trying to include some more fiction on the blog from time to time. Some of it is stuff I wrote years ago for my old blog. Some of it is stuff I wrote years ago and just let sit on my computer, assuming I’d never want to share it. Some of it has been brand new.

One thing I did on my old blog when I couldn’t get my creative juices flowing was to issue a challenge. Actually, it was a request for my readers to challenge me. So I’m gonna do it again. I want you, my adoring fans, to challenge me to come up with a story using your ideas. I want you to provide some random information and then, in response, I will use those ideas to come up with (hopefully) some decent fiction.

Here’s what I need from you:

• Character name
• Setting
• An object
• An emotion

You give me those four things and I’ll do my best to come up with something mildly entertaining.

I currently have 238 followers. I don’t expect to get 238 responses here, but it sure would be nice to have more than 2 or 3 in the comments. Play along! I think it’ll be fun!
