If you didn’t catch it, the title of this post is in reference to the weekly movie posts I’ve been doing.
I counted down the American Film Institute’s top 100 films of all time. Now I’m counting down my top 100 films of all time.
We’re a quarter of the way through and now I want to hear from you. What do you like? What do you dislike? What movies do you think should be on my list? What shouldn’t?
I’m not saying we should agree on what movies should be in my personal top 100. But I’m curious about those of you who read these posts. Do you like the format? Because it’s different than how I did the AFI list. With those, I wrote posts as if they were short movie reviews. With my favorites, I’m doing bullet points, sharing my thoughts as I watch through these movies again. My thought behind changing it up for this list is because there are some movies that overlap, and I didn’t just want to copy and paste a review that I’d done before.
I probably shouldn’t expect much by way of comments. But if you want to share, I’d love to hear what you think. And if an overwhelming majority of people let me know they want to see something different, well… it’s still up to me to decide how to do it. But I’ll consider making changes with next week’s post. For now, you can still look forward to seeing what I think about #75, Swiss Family Robinson tomorrow.
