I think we can all agree that the world we live in can be a pretty dark place. Even without the tragedies that have dominated the news cycle in recent weeks, that darkness is evident every time we turn on the evening news… or peruse the magazine rack while waiting in line at the grocery store… or sit in traffic for more than a few minutes.
But I want to challenge everyone who reads this to take a moment to think about some of the positive things that we may take for granted on any given day. I have no illusions that focusing on the good is going to cause evil to cease to exist. I just think we need a reminder, every now and then, that the world isn’t all bad. So let’s see if I can come up with 100.
