Because today is National Strawberry Day, our Sunday Scribblings prompt for this week is Strawberry. If you decide to write a post based on this week’s prompt, be sure to go back here and share your link so everyone can see how you interpreted things! Here’s what I did with it…
I have been sitting here looking at a blank screen for the last half hour and I am coming up with absolutely nothing. I have nothing to say about a strawberry.
I mean, sure, I like strawberries. But they don’t exactly rock my world. Sure, my favorite flavor of Pop-Tart is the unfrosted strawberry. But how can I turn that into an entire blog post?
Maybe if I were feeling more inspired, I could. Or I could have come up with some kind of story that had something to do with strawberries. I’m just not feeling it.
I sure hope y’all had better luck with this one than I did…
Thanks to everyone who participated this week and shared your links! Please visit their blogs, give them a follow, and take a look at how they interpreted the prompt.
Be sure to come back on Wednesday for the next Sunday Scribblings prompt! Encourage other bloggers to challenge themselves with the prompt! Remember that there are no rules for what you write, other than responding to the prompt! You can write fiction, non-fiction, poetry, prose, biography, instruction… it’s all up to you!

What is it about the unfrosted that you like the most? I’ve never heard of anyone liking an unfrosted poptart the best haha

I blame my sensitive teeth. For some reason, sometimes, when I eat the frosted version it just hurts my teeth. Never have the same problem with the unfrosted. Also, if you put butter on the unfrosted Pop-Tart it tastes like buttered toast and jam.

Ooooo my teeth do that too when I have things that are too sweet. I don’t think I’ve ever had a proper poptart. I might just have to try one

It seems very early for strawberries. Here in the UK it is June – August when strawberries are at their best and they make up a big part of summer.
