If God appeared to you in a series of vivid and moving dreams and told you to leave everything behind, travel alone to the Sea of Galilee, and become a fisherman, would you?
If I had no doubt in my heart and mind that it was really God prompting me to do this, then yes, I would. But it wouldn’t just be based on a series of vivid and moving dreams. In my experience, when God is acting in someone’s life and encouraging them to make some kind of change, whether it be subtle or drastic, there is always confirmation that this is, in fact, God’s will. So I wouldn’t just rely on dreams. I’d rely on whatever other encouragement would come in some other form as well.
What about you? Would you give up everything you’re used to believing it’s God that’s calling you to do so? Let me know what you think in the comments!

I kind of agree, and would follow if I really felt that it was a true calling from God.
With Le Brother today and he says he would be skeptical 😉

I’m a very stubborn person. And I don’t like fishing.
I feel like I would be googling “what does fishing in a dream mean” before I actually dropped everything and went fishing. And then I’d try and be like “but why? what is the point? what is the purpose?”
