Because today is Easter Sunday, our Sunday Scribblings prompt for this week is Easter. If you decide to write a post based on this week’s prompt, be sure to go back here and share your link so everyone can see how you interpreted things! Here’s what I did with it…
What is there to say other than… Happy Easter!
I hope you’re able to spend the holiday with friends and/or family. Personally, I’ve been feeling pretty sick for the last couple of days. So I’ll be canceling my plans to meet family for lunch this afternoon. I feel bad for being a no show, but I really don’t want to risk passing on something to anyone else. Yesterday was miserable and I’ll spare you the details. So far today, I’m not feeling great, but I also haven’t tried to eat anything either.
Think I’ll go back and lie down for a little while. Wish me luck…
Thanks to everyone who participated this week and shared your links! Please visit their blogs, give them a follow, and take a look at how they interpreted the prompt.
Be sure to come back on Wednesday for the next Sunday Scribblings prompt! Encourage other bloggers to challenge themselves with the prompt! Remember that there are no rules for what you write, other than responding to the prompt! You can write fiction, non-fiction, poetry, prose, biography, instruction… it’s all up to you!

It better not be the ‘Rona… I’m two months past getting my second dose of the vaccine. No… I think it’s just a stomach virus… or food poisoning, one or the other. Just have to let it pass.

You’ve had the second dose?! Oh good! I keep forgetting that even under Trump’s America, the vaccine was distributed quickly and effectively….. yet here I am still waiting for my first dose and probably won’t see it until July….AFTER school is done for the year…
Awww oh no!! Rest and liquids! Feel better!

So sorry. Prayers you get better soon. The vaccine means if you do get the virus, it will be easier and not fatal. Take care of yourself.
