Which sex has it easier in our culture? Have you ever wished you were the opposite sex?
Is this even a question? Men have it easier than women. Without a doubt. Just take a look at the majority of public offices in our government. Just take a look at the majority of higher positions in major businesses. Just look at most of the history of Western Civilization. And Eastern Civilization…
Look, I think aside from the fictional island paradise of Themyscira which is populated solely by the mythical Amazons, I’d say men have it easier everywhere. And, no, I’ve never wished to be the opposite sex.
Let’s take societal inequality out of the equation for a moment. I wouldn’t want to be a woman because there’s just so much that you ladies have to go through that I just don’t think I could deal with it. I mean, just think about puberty… Guys have to deal with sweat and hair and some embarrassing thoughts. Girls… your bodies turn against you on a monthly basis. No thanks. No offense or anything… I just wouldn’t want to be one of you.
But what do you think? Do men or women have it easier in today’s culture? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to experience life as the opposite sex? Is anything I said in my answer inadvertently offensive to women? Let me know in the comments!

I don’t think I have ever wondered what its like to be a man, and I can’t REALLY complain as a Canadian white woman. But men definitely have it easier lol

Men definitely have it easier than women do in society. But I also know as a cis white woman, I have a lot of privileges other people do not.
The only time I’ve ever wondered what it would be like to be a man is moments like when my brother says he’s going on a walk alone in the dark, which I never do unless absolutely necessary. I can’t imagine just…doing that and not worrying.
