This week, our Sunday Scribblings prompt is Gold. If you decide to write a post based on this week’s prompt, be sure to go back here and share your link so everyone can see how you interpreted things! Here’s what I did with it…
I didn’t do anything with it. Man… that’s two weeks in a row that I’ve really dropped the ball on the Sunday Scribblings posts.
I can make excuses. Work has been busy this week. Work kept me busy this weekend. But all of that really just is what it is.
Truth is, I didn’t make time to write anything this week. So, once again, I’m leaving it to my fellow bloggers who have taken it upon themselves to share their words that were inspired by this week’s writing prompt.
Thanks to everyone who participated this week and shared your links! Please visit their blogs, give them a follow, and take a look at how they interpreted the prompt.
Be sure to come back on Wednesday for the next Sunday Scribblings prompt! Encourage other bloggers to challenge themselves with the prompt!

Lets make an “I dropped the ball” club cos I got nothing as well! Although I am going to play the excuses card! LOL I moved homes and had to set up my socially distanced classroom this week while ignoring most of my school work to move so now I’m trying to organize my brain around work things.

Your excuses are better than mine.

Haha! We should still make the club. I like being in exclusive clubs 😂

I almost commented on your post that my first thought was a story about two prospectors, one of whom goes mad with envy when the other finds gold… but I didn’t like where that was going and just couldn’t come up with anything different.

You should’ve gone with it, the stories would have fit well together. There was a lot of that going around, jealousy, murder, claim jumping. Not a nice state of affairs but it does reflect true life, even now. “There’s nothing new under the sun”
